Hello! I’m Matthew Fenton, your coach & guide.
I chose self-employment for myself on June 16, 1997. Since then, I’ve earned millions in revenue, providing positioning and strategy services to major brands like Fidelity Investments, Wrigley and Valvoline, as well as strong local and regional brands. I’m proud of the fact that 94% of my revenue has come from repeat business or referrals.
The most important thing I bring to the table? The long view. I’m not some guy who’s been freelancing for two years and thinks he has it all figured out. I’ve had plenty of time to hit some high highs, but also to make my share of mistakes. Knowing where the ditches are is the key to avoiding them.
Most importantly, I live a balanced life – including physical & mental health, financial security, and passions outside of work. I’ve long believed that the operative question isn’t “How much money can I make?” but rather “What’s the path to balance?”
